Mimi Kim is a 3rd-year Biology student at UBC and has grown up in the tri-cities on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm, Musqueam, Squamish, Stó:lō and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. A long-time musician, being immersed in the rich cultural offerings of Port Moody has helped her strengthen her connection to the arts, and she is very excited to be a part of the PoMoArts team and engage with the community. When not at the front desk, she can be found walking her dogs, playing the piano, and restaurant-hopping.
