Art Out Side 2026 is a city-wide multidisciplinary arts festival transforming Port Moody from August 7–16, 2026. From waterfronts to commercial hubs, alleyways to park benches, the festival invites bold artistic voices to animate public space and reimagine how and where art is experienced.
We invite artists of all disciplines to propose engaging works that push beyond traditional formats. Proposals in visual and media arts, performance, poetry, sound, interactive installations, film, sculpture, dance, and other creative forms will be considered.

PoMoArts Ceramic Artist in Residence (CAIR) Residency is a core part of our commitment to nurturing artistic excellence and fostering cultural development in the ceramic arts. Designed for emerging ceramic artists, this 6–7 month residency combines on-site studio practice with mentorship, research, and community engagement, offering a flexible yet immersive experience tailored to today’s creative professionals.
Throughout the residency, emphasis is placed on hands-on making, artistic exploration, teaching, public engagement and includes a solo exhibition. PoMoArts ceramic studios are active, collaborative, and supportive environments that host a wide range of programs, including adult classes in wheel throwing, hand building, and sculpture, as well as youth programs and vibrant student studio sessions.

PoMoArts is excited to announce the artist call for Rise, our biennial student exhibition for artists at every stage of their journey. Share your 2D, 3D, and performance works to join an exhibition that encourages artistic growth and highlights the talents of the PoMoArts community.
This call is open to artists of all ages who have taken a PoMoArts class in 2024, 2025, or 2026.

PoMoArts invites submissions for True Colours, our annual Youth Pride Art Exhibition celebrating Pride in Port Moody this June!
True Colours is a safe and welcoming space forTri-City 2SLGBTQI+ youth, their families, and their allies. This exhibition promotes inclusivity, celebrates diversity, and creates space for the unique contributions of youth artists in our community.
We invite youth artists (age 12-19) who identify as part of, or allies to the 2SLGBTQI+ community to apply to showcase their artwork. We welcome artwork in all mediums exploring themes of identity, family, culture, and self-expression. Students from School District 43 (Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Anmore and Belcarra) are encouraged to apply.
This exhibition takes place during Port Moody Youth Pride Festival at PoMoArts.

PoMoArts is now accepting exhibition proposals for the 2027 season! We are seeking compelling solo or group exhibitions across all disciplines, including painting, sculpture, textiles, photography, digital and performance art, installation, ceramics, and more! Proposals with an immersive or participatory element are encouraged.
This is an opportunity to showcase your work within a vibrant, community-connected arts organization that values bold ideas and meaningful artistic experiences to reflect and engage our diverse community.
We ask that applicants indicate their availability for exhibitions between 2026-2027, as submissions may also be considered for earlier opportunities.

The Gallery at PoMoArts is seeking proposals for group and solo exhibitions featuring a wide variety of artistic mediums, including, but not limited to, drawing, painting, print media, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textile art, digital art, audio/video performance, site-specific installations, and performance art. Proposals including a participatory element are encouraged.
Proposals are encouraged from both emerging and established artists and artist groups.
Exhibition proposals are evaluated based on theme cohesion, relevance, community impact, diversity of mediums, and inclusion of non-derivative artworks.
There is no fee for submitting a proposal.
Ongoing Exhibition Proposals are received and reviewed on a continual basis. For annual artist calls, please see the posted submission deadlines.
We appreciate all submissions, but only those selected for consideration will be contacted.
All artwork is available for purchase unless indicated, with 30% of all artwork sales retained by PoMoArts and 70% of each sale going to the artist.
If your artwork is not for sale, you may indicate this with “NFS” (Not for sale) on the submission form.
