The artists spent two years exploring and plein air painting along the Coquitlam River trying to capture the essence of this piece of wild, where the river meets the city. During the winter they translated sketches into the larger works for the exhibition. Their different styles reveal their distinct responses to time and place, reflecting their magical days by the river.
