May 12- June 9, 2022
Kwi Am Choi Scholarship recipient: Connor MacKinnon
A Fragmented History: Port Moody

Utilizing purpose-built 3D modeling algorithms and digital fabrication, MacKinnon’s sculptures examine the role of fiction, the unknown, and authenticity in the act of historical reconstruction. Using fragmented texts, local records, and historic objects as source material, these artworks explore Port Moody’s history as one that is open to interpretation, questioning, and imagination.

A Fragmented History: Port Moody is open daily and runs from May 12 – June 9, 2022.  Enjoy this show by visiting the Gallery or viewing the online exhibition on PoMoArts.ca. Check the website for hours and COVID 19 Safety Plan.
