Hello and welcome to my page, I am a Visual Artist
Christine is a Coquitlam artist who has drawn and painted since childhood and is primarily self taught. Her mediums of choice are watercolours and acrylics. She is now retired and is painting and is showing on a regular basis in the lower mainland. She has also had the pleasure of showing her watercolour work internationally in Italy and Madrid. She is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, an active member and board member of the Suite E Life Drawing Society and a member of the Port moody Art Association.

Artist Statement
Painting is my passion and my mediums of choice are watercolour and acrylic. I paint primarily in a representational manner and I am drawn to the figure, wildlife and lanscape subjects. I love the abstract shapes found in our environment and in nature and that draws me in and inspires me. Mixing these two elements helps me create what I see and feel. I have recently started to do more and more plein air painting and I am finding it very rewarding. As an artist I hope to stir a reaction in those who see my work.
