Hello and welcome to my page, I am a Visual Artist, Digital Artist
Monica is a Latinx-American illustrator based in Vancouver, and a graduate of Laguna College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration with Drawing and Painting emphasis. She is known for her bold colors and expressive characters. She has worked on various storyboarding projects for major brands such as Honda and Disney, and was a Senior Designer for Go, Dog. Go! with Wildbrain/Netflix/ and DreamWorks. She is also the illustrator for the forthcoming middle grade graphic novel series Doña Quixote: Rise of the Knight (Holt Children’s 2023).

Artist Statement
I use my background in fine art to create illustrations and sequential art in all forms of entertainment art. I love using bold colors and my love of anatomy to create expressive figures and characters that bring a story to life. I interpret scripts, stories and ideas into visual illustrations that will bring you along for the ride.
