Artist Statement
A Look Inside showcases 3D sculptural works made entirely from ethically harvested natural materials found on the unceded ancestral lands of the Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations. This unique exhibition of wonder and awe takes viewers on a journey into the artist's nature driven creative mind. Works feature a mix of recognizable and unfamiliar forms that challenge perceptions and expand the imagination. Whimsical creatures mingle with hidden wonders inside boxes, windows, and wall hangings. Each creation will leave the viewer contemplating the way we think about, and use natural materials, and how we can use this magnificent magic to reshape our relationship with the world we live in.
