Hello and welcome to my page, I am a Visual Artist, Mixed/Multi Media
Hello! I’m Carolyn, and I am an illustrator living in Port Moody with her two cats! I completed my undergrad at Simon Fraser University, continuing studies at Emily Carr, and am always updating my technical and industry knowledge (Picture Books) through illustrator led workshops and seminars. While my focus of my artistic endeavours is in publications, I also enjoy the opportunities to partake in craft fairs and gallery exhibits occasionally. In my free time, I jazz up tired, discarded books and restore them back to "Little Libraries" across town, ensuring these literary gems continue to inspire and delight. Hope to see you at Winter Treasures 2023!

Artist Statement
I specialize in illustration and children's picture books, and I adore working in collage, paints, digital, and mixed media. I am a big fan of upcycling: taking old materials and products and giving them a new purpose, breathing fresh life into forgotten treasures. While my primary focus is on print and paper publications, every winter season, I venture into crafting whimsical animal portraits into cards, ornaments, and trinkets at Christmas markets. It is the hope of these naive characters and I, to bring warmth and joy to you this holiday!
