For as long as I can remember, I have always been intrigued by wood. As a child, I spent many hours by the campfire, watching the elements move from the logs to the embers of the flame. This evolved into my passion for working with wood as an adult. Sculpting wood carving it and eventually, the modern/ancient art of woodturning. Woodturning is a form of woodworking used to create wooden objects on a lathe. There's something quite primal about the woodturning technique, passed down from generation to generation. From the moment I first started woodturning 20 years ago, it has been a true passion and I never stop thinking of new ways and new techniques to achieve my aspirations. My work lies on the axis of traditional and contemporary, and I strive to create pieces that are both useful and aesthetic. I source all my wood only from raw materials that are derived only from trees cut down legally as permissible by law.  ​
