Our first ever Art Out Side 2025, Port Moody’s new multidisciplinary arts festival, was a huge success! Thank you for joining us in transforming Port Moody with dance and music performances, sculpture installations, interactive media arts, live painting and fibre arts, spontaneous theatre, AR out door art on the Shoreline trail, vibrant murals, and more!

From the shoreline to bustling commercial hubs, secret locations to park benches, arts reached every corner of the city.

Curated by PoMoArts with support from the City of Port Moody, Art Out Side brought artistic voices into everyday spaces—creating unforgettable experiences and leaving creative marks that will inspire for years to come.

Art Out Side is dedicated to providing accessible and inclusive art experiences during the festival. Festival Volunteers and Staff will be on site to help facilitate the ease of access. A collage-making experience that reflects stories from our creative community. Tell a unique story using collage.

In the Presence of Ancestors: Coast Salish Carving Project

Artist Damian George Stalaston will be carving a house post live and the community will be invited to come view the carving practice.

AR Balanced Forces Exhibition Art Walk

International Augmented Reality exhibition woven into Port Moody’s Shoreline Trail.

Taka will be set up in a secret location with black light set up to do Glow In The Dark Painting LIVE using reflective paints. Come by and watch him work and stick around to see the finished product.

Amy (Yun Ru) Bao is a multidisciplinary artist based in Vancouver BC. Her background is in traditional art and architecture.
