Rose Kapp (also known as Roszay) has been a professionally educated graphic designer and illustrator for over 35 years. In the past few years she has been focusing on illustration, her Worry Bird cartoons and special projects. 

Her artwork has been seen in solo and group shows in the Lower Mainland with her largest work, a series of murals in the Teck Acute Care Centre at BC Children’s Hospital, part of the Children’s Healing Experience Project. 

An active advocate for the arts in the Tri-Cities, Rose has been involved with various projects over the years including Stitching Our History Port Moody, KaBoom!, and The Shuffle. She runs an artists’ community network group called Creative People Talking which meets in Port Moody for live discussions and on FaceBook, sharing opportunities for creatives across genres.

Rose lives in Coquitlam and is considered an honourary Port Moodite.
