Philomena comes to PoMoArts directly from the Performing Arts Industry where, for the past two decades, she has worked as a Production/Stage Manager in Dance, Theatre, and Live Events. Her notable accomplishments include her time working and touring the world with Ballet BC and Kidd Pivot; being part of the  Stage Management Team for the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies and working with amazing companies such as Theatre Terrific on new and inclusive works. She received her Artist in the Community Education Degree from Queen’s University and has worked as a Secondary School Drama Teacher in Burnaby. Philomena has lived in Port Moody, on the unceded traditional territories of the Kwikwetlem, Musqueam, Squamish, Stó:lo and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations since 2009 and looks forward to becoming more involved in the community.
