Gloria Han is a ceramic artist who was born and raised in the Vancouver Lower Mainland. She completed her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. She was the Ceramic Artist-in-Residence during the 2016-2017 program year.

In May, she graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Masters of Fine Arts in ceramics for which she received the New Artist Society Merit-based Full Tuition Fellowship. During her time there, she held several teaching assistant positions as well as a studio monitor role.

She studies traditional Korean pottery with Master Clay Jung-Hong Kim and is excited to share this knowledge with studio users. Gloria’s mission is to create a welcoming environment for makers to push their creative practice even further every day.
