Omulo’s painting series of fast food and music related subjects incorporates traditional cedar weaving into each piece. She connects the heart, the body and the mind in her exploration of contemporary Indigenous life, and highlights issues around Colonialization’s ongoing effects on access to Indigenous learning and culture.
