Open Call for Visual Arts Instructors
The Port Moody Arts Centre is seeking qualified Visual Arts Instructors who are passionate about teaching and enriching the cultural life of our region.
Housed in the historic Old City Hall and Appleyard House buildings in the heart of Port Moody, the Port Moody Arts Centre is a cultural hub for arts and education. With a mission to promote participation in the arts, we offer a full range of visual, ceramic, theatre, music, and media arts programming for people of all ages and experience levels to explore their creativity. Our small class sizes and inclusive environment give students the opportunity to receive individual instruction from talented instructors, where they are encouraged to learn and develop an appreciation of the arts.

We are seeking enthusiastic, qualified candidates from all backgrounds to develop and teach visual art classes to both children and adults. Applicants must have a Fine Arts degree or equivalent training and experience, as well as a proven ability to design, plan, and deliver fine arts programs.
Employment offers are conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check that is acceptable to the Port Moody Arts Centre.
Pay will be commensurate with education and previous teaching experience.
