Hello and welcome to my page, I am a Visual Artist
Lea Sevcov-Mixed Media Artist
Lea works in many different mediums, sometimes combining several in one painting to achieve the depth, texture and unique effects. She finds abstract images in everyday objects and scenes and tries to incorporate them into her paintings. Lea has a very unique style with her paintings easily recognized. Education is important to keep growing as an artist so she attends other artist demonstrations but mostly self taught over the past 20 years. By constantly growing as an artist her paintings are always fresh and new. She is a long time member of the Garibaldi Art Club in Maple Ridge, currently living in Pitt Meadows. She has had her works chosen by jurors in many shows in the greater Vancouver area and has achieved awards for her work. Lea was very proud to achieve her Active Status with the Federation of Canadian Artists attached to the Fraser Valley Chapter where she is currently on the executive. Lea believes in supporting the arts in her community and has participated in Studio tours and numerous community events like outdoor art festivals. Lea has also instructed numerous workshops for the Garibaldi Art Club and demonstrations to different Chapters of The Federation of Canadian Artists as well as in her home studio in Pitt Meadows.

Samples of my work
I am a mixed media artist that gets inspiration from nature and the many photos that I take while travelling. I work in many mediums and usually combine several in one painting to create interest and texture. I started as mainly an abstract artist but of late I'm calling my style abstracted reality. By adding lines and dots to my paintings they become more of a patterned mosaic look keeping the subject recognizable yet funky and abstract as well.
