Hello and welcome to my page, I am a Fibre Artist, Mixed/Multi Media, Photo/Film Artist
Tara-Lynn Kozma-Perrin is an Urban First Nations (Cree-Saulteaux) and Mixed European Settler Artist residing in Abbotsford, BC. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of the Fraser Valley, is currently obtaining her Global Development Studies Degree and has been the recipient of several residencies, public art commissions and awards. As the current Culture Coordinator for the City of Abbotsford, her work includes the creation and implementation of an Artist in Residence and mentorship program along with cultivating and maintaining relationships with local arts and culture groups.
Kozma-Perrin is a multidisciplinary artist who uses sculpture, installation, painting, audio and video to create her work. Creative Placemaking is dear to her heart and essential to the work within her community and her artistic practice. Currently, she is focusing on soundscape ecology and its importance as an urban planning tool and ways to connect to the land.
