In my latest series Weightless, I make deep observations to discover a heightened sense of vitality in the flora's dynamic choreography of lines, texture, and forms. The process begins with assembling flowers at the edge of life and death—between existence and disappearance. Through visual translation using photography and lighting study, the small wonders are rearranged, scaled, and recomposed into gravity-less space. Much like the frail human lives in the pandemic, I explore the notions of sublime in the formal complexity that expresses the graceful, ethereal beauty and the futile nature of mortality that hides beneath the fragility and precariousness.
