Hello and welcome to my page, I am a Visual Artist
Bev grew up in northern British Columbia and moved to Vancouver Island after attending the University of B.C. She studied art at the University of Victoria and Malaspina College, Nanaimo. She painted mostly watercolours for many years. For the past eight years she has worked in acrylics, pastels and oils. Bev exhibits with The Fraser Valley Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists and at the Federation Gallery at Granville Island, Vancouver.

Samples of my work
Bev is a White Rock, B.C. artist who works in oils, acrylics, watercolours and pastels. Sunlit autumn scenes, golden evening light, trees and water are favourite subjects. She also likes to paint old buildings with a sense of mystery, intrigued with their past and the people who lived in them. Bev strives to capture the feeling of a place using impressionistic colour and rearranging the scene to produce a mood, rather than a realistic depiction.
